**SSASIM: LABDYN . id**

Identifies id of rows that contain specification of time pattern of parameters that determine age- and gender-specific labor market behavior, consisting of several foreign keys pointing to rows in child tables and at least one structural parameter. Typically, table contains several rows with the same id and different year values so that labor market pattern dynamics can be represented.

**SSASIM: LABDYN . cal_year**

Specifies calendar year for which the parameters specified on this row are in effect. Values of parameters are calculated by linear interpolation for years in between years for which parameters are specified with non-zero foreign-key id values or valid scalar values. Values of parameters are calculated by simple extrapolation of last values for years beyond the last year for which parameter values are specified.

**SSASIM: LABDYN . part_elast**

Specifies OASDI program participation elasticity of the labor force participation rate. A value of zero implies that age- and gender-specific changes (measured from RUN.year_zero) in OASDI program participation rates have no effect on labor force participation rates in future years. A positive value implies that increases in program participation cause decreases in labor force participation. The specified elasticity value is multiplied by the difference in the log-odds of the year_zero age-gender-cell participation rate and the log-odds of the current year's age-gender-cell participation rate. This product is then added to the log-odds of the age-gender-cell labor participation rate specified for that year. The source code that implements these behavioral response calculations can be found by searching the labmrkt.cpp file for the expression 'participation_elasticity' (without the quotes).

**SSASIM: LABDYN . c_adj_mix**

Specifies mixture of two algorithms used to ensure the matrix of age- and gender-specific earnings ratios (measured relative to the economy-wide average earnings level) contains values that imply that the employment-share-weighted ratio equals exactly one. It is a matter of logic that the sum across all age-gender cells of the product of the age-gender-cell's employment share and its relative earnings ratio must equal one. The relative earnings ratios specified in the EARN_GA table for a given year may not produce those results if the age and gender composition of employment is changing. A value of zero for c_adj_mix implies exclusive use of what is called in the source code the 'scaling' adjustment algorithm. A value of one for c_adj_mix implies exclusive use of what is called in the source code the 'twisting' adjustment algorithm. The scaling algorithm causes the least distortion in the earnings ratios specified in the EARN_GA table. For algorithm details, see the adjust_earnings_ratio function in the labmrkt.cpp file.

**SSASIM: LABDYN . awi2ae_cba**

Specifies ratio of SSA average wage index (AWI) to establishment module's average economy-wide earnings per full-time equivalent worker in CBA mode. The AWI is an average calculated by dividing by all (including part-time and part-year) workers. This means that the AWI is generally less than average earnings per full-time equivalent worker.
