GEMINI input table TRACE

Contains specification of individual trace assumptions.

Parent table is: SAMPLE

There are no child tables.

Go to GEMINI input parameters overview

GEMINI:   TRACE . id
Identifies individual trace assumptions specified on this row of table, so id value should be unique.

Valid values: 1 to 999999999 (nine digits), Integer

GEMINI:   TRACE . notes
Describes specification of table row in free-form note.

Valid values: any ASCII text, Memo (Note: do not copy and paste from a word processor because of the possibility of embedded non-ASCII characters.)

GEMINI:   TRACE . count_all
Specifies whether or not scenario number and individual id value are written to screen before the start of calculations for each sampled individual. Set this to true only when an error message does not identify the sampled individual who generated a fatal error message, as would be the case when a spouse generated the error message. After learning the scenario and individual id for the error, set back to false and activate tracing for the indicated scenario and individual id. Note: consider executing the stochastic simulator with the runlog option when setting this parameter to true.

Valid values: T (=1) or F (=0) (for true or false), Logical

GEMINI:   TRACE . db_calcs
Specifies whether or not detailed defined-benefit social security calculations are shown for an individual. Note: consider executing the stochastic simulator with the runlog option when setting this parameter to true.

Valid values: T (=1) or F (=0) (for true or false), Logical

GEMINI:   TRACE . dc_calcs
Specifies whether or not detailed defined-contribution social security calculations are shown for an individual. Note: consider executing the stochastic simulator with the runlog option when setting this parameter to true.

Valid values: T (=1) or F (=0) (for true or false), Logical

GEMINI:   TRACE . birth_year
Specifies the cohort birth year for which detailed social security calculations are shown.

Valid values: 1935-9 to 2934+9, Integer [value is not checked against any other table parameter entries]

GEMINI:   TRACE . scenario
Specifies the scenario for which detailed social security calculations are shown.

Valid values: 1 to 99999, Integer [value is not checked against SSASIM:RUN.scenarios]

GEMINI:   TRACE . indiv_id
Specifies the individual for which detailed social security calculations are shown. The value placed in this parameter should equal the id number the individual has in the cohort input file used in this GEMINI run, which is the ind_id value shown in both the PENSIM .sum and .adq output files. Note that a spouse of an individual can be traced by specifying the negative individual id of the spouse and the birth_year of the spouse, which can be different than the sample individual married to the spouse.

Valid values: -999999999 to -1 or 1 to 999999999 (nine digits), Integer [value is not checked against number of sample individuals in cohort input file being used in this GEMINI run]
